Isel completes the assembly and wiring work at the Buseco Wind Farm

We recently completed work on the Buseco wind farm (located in the Asturian towns of Tineo, Villayón and Valdés) whose works began at the end of October with a duration of four months.

In this new park we have carried out assembly and wiring of wind turbines. The fleet consists of 10 SG 5.0 machines from the customer Siemens Gamesa. These generators have a rated power of 5MW and 145 m. of blade diameter.

The new Asturian wind farm has the capacity to generate up to 129.000 MWh of clean energy per year, which is equivalent to the consumption of almost 54,000 households in the region and to prevent the annual emission of more than 51,200 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. One of the major challenges of this project was the transportation of the equipment to the location in an elevated and difficult to access area.
